Well folks, after what felt like a solid two days of battling with this website builder (apparently “user-friendly” is open to interpretation, especially when you’re a complete newbie to web design), we’ve finally got something live! Yes, you heard that correctly – Famable now has its very own webpage!
Now, before anyone thinks we’ve suddenly become tech gurus, although I am kinda nerdy about this stuff (don’t tell anyone!), let me assure you, this is very much a ‘version 1.0’ situation. Think of it as the slightly rough first cut of a video – the main content is there, but maybe the transitions aren’t perfect and the pacing could use a little tweaking.
But hey, it’s up and running! And honestly, that feels like a major win. Why put ourselves through all this digital stress? Well, we wanted to create a more helpful place for you awesome viewers. You know, somewhere you can easily find more info. We thought having a dedicated website with a merch store and some affiliate links for products you might actually find useful would be pretty cool. Consider it our way of saying “thanks” for sticking with us through all the cruise ship reviews and resort explorations.
Speaking of thanks, we truly appreciate every single one of you who watches our videos. Your support means the world to Brandy and me (with me usually glued to the editing software, but she’s definitely the brains of the operation… most of the time!). This website is for you, our fantastic community, and we hope it enhances your Famable experience.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, all this website work has seriously eaten into my video editing schedule. You know, the part where the magic happens (and by magic, I mean cleverly recreating scenes we missed with questionable acting). So, I’m off to get back to the editing suite and bring you more tales of travel mishaps and all-inclusive buffets.
So explore the new site – it might not be the Taj Mahal of web design, but it’s ours (and now, kind of yours too!). We’re excited to see how it evolves. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll even figure out how to make those little social media icons actually link to our pages. Don’t count on it. 😉
